Greg Palast

 

While Bobby Kennedy calls Greg Palast, "The last great investigative journalist in the English language," his background is in finance and financial investigation. Palast's new work returns to his roots in economics:  He's the only reporter around who studied economics under Milton Friedman and lectured at the School of Applied Economics at Cambridge University, England. It was Palast who first challenged Ken Lay and Enron and won Britain's equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize for his work -- all while US media was still licking Lay's loafers.
